COVID-19

 

Covid-19

We look forward to welcoming visitors back to The Green Escape as regulations allow. As we continue to take steps into our new 'normal', we must be prepared do so with caution and take personal 

responsibility to follow the correct measures to keep ourselves and others safe.

In accordance with the appropriate government and medical guidelines we have created new Covid-19

guest regulations which must be adhered to during your stay.

COVID-19 GUEST REGULATIONS

  1. Guests should not come if they are ill.

  2. To avoid cross contamination we advise communal facilities to be cleaned after every use.

  3. Guests must adhere to the government advice of self isolating if they develop Covid-19 symptoms. Please see Covid Information displayed on dresser.

  4. Frequent hand washing or santisation, essential on arrival and before contact with communal facilities.

  5. Parents are responsible for supervising children’s hygiene and social distancing

  6. Each guest should have their own hand sanitiser to use in their huts.

  7. One household for each hut.

  8. Observe minimum of 1 metre social distancing at all times.

  9. No extra guests or Day Guests permitted.

THE BALES

  1. Wash / sanitise hands before and after using communal facilities.

  2. Kitchen area - work surfaces, crockery, cutlery, utensils etc to be cleaned after every use.

  3. Wipe down surfaces after every use eg. cool box, table cloths, light pulls, contact points.  

  4. Outdoor blankets - use separate one for each person or please bring your own.

  5. Games box removed - guests to bring their own games/toys.

SHOWER HUTS

  1. Clean all surfaces after every use.

  2. Paper towels provided - please place used paper in separate receptacle provided.

  3. Solar lights provided - please do not touch.

COMPOST TOILETS

  1. Sanitise hands before entering. 

  2. Clean areas contacted after every use with paper towels and spray cleaner provided.

  3. Wash hands afterwards either with hand sanitiser or use the shower hut wash basin.

  4. Solar lights provided - please do not touch.

OUTDOOR KITCHEN, BBQ & PIZZA OVEN

OUR COMMITMENT TO KEEPING YOU SAFE

The health and welfare of our guests is of upmost importance to us and we will continue to uphold our rigorous cleaning routine to prepare for our guests arrival. We are following the guidance provided to the self catering accommodation industry on the protocol of extensive and safe cleaning methods. We have increased our vigilance regarding handwashing and sanitisation of hand contact surfaces.

RISK ASSESSMENT

RISK ASSESSMENT HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED in order to ensure risk of cross contamination is minimal at The Green Escape.

  • Shepherds Huts are adequately spaced.

  • The Bales is large enough for 1 metre social distancing and can be well ventilated.

  • Outdoor Kitchen, BBQ/Pizza oven area, Tripod over firepit, all provide additional cooking areas

  • Staff have been trained regarding all necessary health measures, hygiene and cleaning methods.

  • Extra hand sanatising points installed.

  • Deep cleaning between visits.

  • Provision of cleaning products and paper towels for guests to maintain hygiene.

DEEP CLEANING OVERVIEW 

  • Dust and disinfect all surfaces including door handles, window handles, furniture, light switches, bins etc.

  • Soft furnishings cleaned or replaced as appropriate.

  • Floors swept & washed.

  • Bed linen washed at 60 degrees.

  • Showers cleaned and sanitised including tiles, shower head, taps, sink, pedestals & shower curtains washed between visits.

  • Sanitise wheelie bins, outdoor play equipment, wash hammocks, clean BBQ's, tripod grill.
